Anxiety Therapy

Living with anxiety can be challenging, but we can help you learn new skills and strategies to manage it.

Dedicated to Helping Clients Overcome Anxiety
We are a team of anxiety therapists dedicated to helping our clients overcome their anxiety using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

A Tailored Approach
At our practice, we believe that each person is unique and therefore requires a tailored approach to treatment. We work collaboratively with our clients to identify their specific goals and concerns, and we develop a treatment plan that is customized to their needs.

Evidence-Based Practices
Our approach is evidence-based, which means we use the latest research and techniques to ensure our clients receive the best possible care.

Anxiety Disorders We Treat:

Social Anxiety/Social Phobia:
Social anxiety is a persistent fear of social situations where a person may feel embarrassed, judged, or rejected by others. This fear can be so strong that it interferes with a person's daily life and can cause them to avoid social situations altogether.
We offer Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Social Anxiety (CPT-SA), which is very effective in reducing and eliminating social anxiety in a relatively short period of time. CPT-SA teaches skills allowing the anxious person to identify the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors contributing to the anxiety.
Panic Attacks:
Panic attacks are sudden and intense episodes of fear or discomfort lasting several minutes. During a panic attack, a person may experience symptoms such as a rapid heartbeat, sweating, trembling, shortness of breath, and a feeling of impending doom or danger.
We offer a specialized treatment program that helps individuals manage the physical symptoms of panic attacks and reduce their frequency and intensity.
Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD):
PTSD is a disorder that can develop after a person experiences or witnesses a traumatic event. Symptoms of PTSD may include flashbacks, nightmares, intrusive thoughts, and avoidance of reminders of the traumatic event.
We offer CBT for PTSD, which is an evidence-based approach to treating PTSD that focuses on changing the negative thoughts and behaviors that contribute to the disorder.
Phobia:
A phobia is an intense and irrational fear of a specific object, situation, or activity. Phobias can be very distressing and may cause a person to go to great lengths to avoid the object of their fear.
We offer exposure therapy, a gradual and supportive exposure plan tailored to the client’s needs and goals so they can start feeling more in control of their anxiety.
